One Outfit Two Ways – Ladies lunch to Long Walk

You know those days when you have lots of different things on but no time to get changed to do them all. Or if you are just super lazy. Today I have a few things on and two of those are a lunch another one a long walk around the Peninsula to work off lunch.

One Outfit Two Ways – Ladies lunch

Okay I might be exaggerating when I call it a ladies lunch. It’s my mother’s birthday and we are going to the local Mexican restaurant. But we have vaginas and we will be eating lunch.

I’m wearing my Bohemian Traders Ahoy dress. This is a must have piece for Summer. I don’t normally wear short dresses and this is a littler shorter than I feel comfortable, so I have my Bohemian Traders Plaid shirt around my waist (worn before here). This serves many purposes:

  1. lengthens the dress at the back
  2. protects my bare thighs from Mexican restaurant chairs when I sit down (and protects their chairs from me)
  3. serves as a belt to create and accentuate the waist
  4. warmth if the weather turns
  5. fun with the clashing patterns

The outfit is finished off with my Lillian Nai tan wedges (worn before here). DSC_0206

One Outfit Two Ways – Long Walk

By long walk, I mean a short loop around the Scarborough Marina before sitting and admiring the view for 30 minutes.

I put my favourite boyfriends under the dress and then bunched the dress up to make it more tee shirt length.

I then changed my heels for a pair of stone Taos sandals. These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I promise you, if you try them on, you will not want to take them off….EVER! I picked mine up from Sutton Street shoes. DSC_0034

Are you more of a dress or pants person?

Shoes were gifted and very much appreciated.
